Has this generation changed the definition of love and life?

  Pyaar, Ishq, Mohabbat...Love has many names but the sole purpose of all these names is the only one to ‘Spread Happiness’. Love has different meanings for different people. For some people love would be a meeting for a moment, for some it may be a wait for years, whatever the meaning be but the intention is to spread happiness. A mother awaits a smile on her child’s face is the best example of selfless and true love. This love is priceless. Love is pious. Love is sacred. Whose ever it be.

   The older generation always complain that this generation has changed the definition of love and life. This is true to some extent. Many of us try to find love online, make friends online. Inspite of that many of us would still fondly remember their first love, their school love. Many of us talk on phones for hours with our loved ones. Inspite of that many of us would love to talk hand in hand sitting on a meadow. Many of us would still love to go to a chai tapri rather than a McDonald's. Even today we sit on the roof gazing at the stars and talk for hours on end. This generation still writes diaries. Instead of WhatsApp, we still prefer to write letters, hide in a notebook and give. Many of us express our love but there would also be some who believe in waiting years on end. Yes, we love Hollywood movies but Dilwale Dulhaniya le Jayenge gives us the joy that no other film would give.

   This generation might not remember worshipping God in the morning but would never forget to hug their mom while leaving. Yes, we are caught up in mobiles and laptops but we love discussing our day with our family. YES, WE DO EXIST.

   Yes, we have changed the way to love and live but our intent remains the same. Love made Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal back then and today love made Manjhi crush mountains. Love was the same years ago and it's the same even today and will remain the same thousands of years later. Only the form of romance, affection changes, the way of life changes. It becomes necessary to understand people, it becomes necessary to spread happiness. If two generations have the same ideology and thinking, then what is the advantage of being the next generation?

   Think, if we humans keep aside all the differences and love each other, help one another and spread happiness, the world would be a better place. There ought to be love in our hearts, then the world would be more beautiful than heaven.
